I woke up to a text from Iman, asking if I wanted to meet him downtown for coffee. He’d sent the text thirty minutes ago, so I quickly replied ‘yes’ and got up to get ready.

I dreamed about that man. The moment we shared last night was breathtaking, exhilarating. I wanted to take things further. I needed to take things further. “Oh.” His brows hiked. “Are y’all discussing the menu for tonight? If so, tell him I’m craving a good steak with some loaded potatoes and broccoli. He can’t go wrong with some homemade rolls either. I know it’s a cliché meal, but with how good the food was last night, there’s no doubt in my mind that he’ll exceed my expectations.”

“Yes, sir. I’ll be sure to tell him.”

Daddy didn’t know that Iman already had the courses planned for each night, but I didn’t want to say that and make him question me about the meeting. Truthfully, I was just as curious to know why he wanted to meet. Different scenarios played in my mind as I drove downtown. I tried taking my mind off things by admiring the beauty of North Brooke Port, but it wasn’t working.

My hands jittered the closer I got to our meeting spot. I wasn’t sure why I was so nervous when I’d been around Iman numerous times since our first meeting. Maybe it was because I knew I’d want to jump his bones the moment I laid eyes on him. I felt his member pressing against me last night, and my goodness… He had to be working with something. I’d been in a dry spell for a few months, and Iman was the perfect man to get my well back running.
